چکیده
A block spin renormalization group approach is proposed for the dynamical triangulation formulation of quantum gravity in arbitrary dimensions. Renormalization group flow diagrams are presented for the three-dimensional and four-dimensional theories near their respective transitions. PACS numbers: 04.60.+n, 05.70.Jk, 11.10.Gh

The Renormalization Group and Dynamical Triangulations
A block spin renormalization group approach is introduced which can be applied to dynamical triangulations in any dimension.
متن کاملA numerical renormalization group approach for calculating the spectrum of a vibronic system occurring in molecules or impurities in insulators
Theoretically, in order to describe the behavior of a spectrum, a mathematical model whichcould predict the spectrum characteristics is needed. Since in this study a Two-state system has beenused like models which was introduced previously past and could couple with the environment, theformer ideas have been extended in this study. we use the second quantized version for writing thisHamiltonian...
متن کاملA Real-Space Renormalization Group for Random Surfaces
We propose a new real-space renormalization group transformation for dynamical triangulations. It is shown to preserve geometrical exponents such as the string susceptibility and Hausdorff dimension. We furthermore show evidence for a fixed point structure both in pure gravity and gravity coupled to a critical Ising system. In the latter case we are able to extract estimates for the gravitation...
متن کاملSimplicial Euclidean and Lorentzian Quantum Gravity
One can try to define the theory of quantum gravity as the sum over geometries. In two dimensions the sum over Euclidean geometries can be performed constructively by the method of dynamical triangulations. One can define a proper-time propagator. This propagator can be used to calculate generalized Hartle-Hawking amplitudes and it can be used to understand the the fractal structure of quantum ...
متن کاملDynamically Driven Renormalization Group
We present a detailed discussion of a novel dynamical renormalization group scheme: the Dynamically Driven Renormalization Group (DDRG). This is a general renormalization method developed for dynamical systems with non-equilibrium critical steady-state. The method is based on a real space renormalization scheme driven by a dynamical steady-state condition which acts as a feedback on the transfo...
